2. Percentage of weight lost, will be used to decide the winner in case of same weight lost.
3. Participants with the best percentage of weight loss, will also get prizes.
4. Weighing will be done at RAK Hospital, first day, 16-17 Dec, 2023 & Final day 2-3, March '24.
5. UAE Residents above 18 years can participate, Emirates ID Number compulsory.
6. Medical Indemnity Form compulsory for all participants.
7. RAK Hospital encourages Healthy weight loss methods, and will provide weekly tips & webinars.
8. Participants on medication must consult their physician for participating.
9. Surgical weight loss methods are not allowed.
10. Participants are advised to read all the rules carefully.
11. Decision of the Organizers’ is final in all matters.

Virtual Participants

RAK Hospital OP Cases,

1. All RAK Hospital OP Clients with a BMI of above 30, or RBS above 200 are, automatically registered for the challenge.
2. They will get the benefits of Health Tips & Weekly Webinars for the 3 month duration of the challenge in order to manage their weight.
3. In case the participants in this category want to qualify for Awards & Prizes, they will need to register under the Physical or Virtual Categories.

Corporate Team Weightloss Challenge

1. Corporate team event, where a corporate organization puts up a team of employees to compete against other corporates.
2. Employees are also entitled to participate & register as individuals in the physical & virtual weight loser categories
3. Incase employees mention their employers company name in the Registration form . They will be automatically included in their company corporate team.
4. Alternatively, the HR/HSSE/Admin of a Corporate may prefer to register & weigh their company employees at the company worksite
5. The minimum numbers to form a corporate team is 10. The maximum can go to any limit
6. The initial weighing in must be completed during the period 15-17, Dec 2023.
7. The recorded weight along with employee name, gender, employee number, emirates Id number must be filled into the chart attached.
8. The filled in chart should be certified by two HOD level officers of the company & sent to the organizers.
9. The organizers reserve the right to verify the weights mentioned by randomly weighing one or two team members & request the Corporates support for this procedure.
10. Every week the Corporate co-ordinator, will receive Healthy Weight Loss Tips from RAK Hospital to share with their weight loss team members.
11. The weight of the team members may be recorded during the last days of every month, duly certified, in the weight record chart & sent to the organizers of the RBWLC
12. The First weighing in from 15-17 Dec,’23 & the last weighing in during the period 1-3 March 2024, duly certified is necessary to qualify for an Award.

School’s Weight loss Challenge

School Childrens Lowest BMI Challenge

1. Where the students in the school form a team that competes against other schools.
2. Students participating may be of either gender & preferably from classes 5 & above.
3. Necessary approvals from School or other authorities will be taken for accessing the children’s details.
4. Teams may comprise of Boys only or Girls only, or could be mixed teams comprising both genders.
5. School children are to be weighed at the school clinic, or during the RAK Hospital Screening.
6. The minimum numbers to form a school team is 100. The maximum can go to any limit
7. The weighing in must be completed during the period July 2023 – March 2024.
8. The recorded weight along with the student’s name, gender, class/grade, must be available for record & scrutiny.
9. The filled in chart should be certified by two school officials one of which must be the Principal or Vice Principal & sent to the organizers.
10. The organizers reserve the right to verify the weights mentioned.

School Staff & Teachers Weight Loss challenge

1. School Teachers & other Employees may form a team & participate in Weight loss Challenge
2. The minimum numbers to form a School team is 10. The maximum can go to any limit
3. The registration & weigh of the team members may be done at the school clinic
4. The initial weighing in must be completed during the period 15-17, Dec 2023.
5. The recorded weight along with employee name, gender, employee number, emirates Id number must be filled into the chart provided.
6. The filled in chart should be certified by two officials one of whom should be the Principal or Vice Principal of the School & sent to the organizers.
